Founded and run by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), our leadership team strives to provide the highest level of support to children and their families with a team that meets the highest qualifications. Our crew is made up of Registered Behavior Technicians, who have previous experience working with neuro-diverse clients. Just like we ask children and parents to do, each team member models a growth mindset and passion for learning.

Leadership

Cristina Carlson

In her +25 year career, Cristina has worked with clients across the spectrum ages 1-22. Her passion and commitment for helping neurodivergent children and their families started when she completed her Bachelor’s in Special Education and Master’s in Low Incidence Special Education from Northern Arizona University. After spending time in the field as a special education teacher, Cristina transitioned to private practice in hopes of making a greater impact and providing the support children and families desperately need. She believes in the power of constantly learning and improving. That is why she continues her education and training throughout her career. She earned a graduate certificate in Positive Behavior Support and Autism, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), completed Division TEACCH training, as well as Level I clinical training in Social Thinking.

Alexis Bailey

Alexis has over 14 years of experience in the field of ABA as a Direct Care Provider, Registered Behavior Technician, Field Trainer, and Operations Director prior to joining the Creative Crew at Creative Therapy Solution. She studied Liberal Studies with a minor in Special Education at Sacramento State while gaining her Registered Behavior Technician Certification in Northern California. Alexis made the move to the administration side in 2017 and is responsible for helping Creative Therapy Solution grow by creating relationships with families and professionals, as well as making sure the day-to-day operations are running smoothly. She oversees process development, billing, scheduling, and business management tasks to ensure clients and clinicians are taken care of and supported administratively. When making the transition to CTS, Alexis was asked, “Why CTS?” She eagerly responded with, “At Creative Therapy Solution, I am able to work alongside creative and like-minded professionals who hold true to the company values of Fun, Growth, Acceptance, and Inclusion. With this, I know we will ensure everyone will be seen and heard.”

Sara Brown

Sara is a seasoned professional in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with over 13 years of experience as a technician and 7 years as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Her extensive expertise encompasses autism spectrum disorders, early childhood education, and play-based therapy, reflecting her deep commitment to equality and inclusion for all individuals. Before joining Creative Therapy Solutions, Sara honed her skills in various roles, including Lead RBT, Early Childhood Educator, and Training Coordinator for Technicians. These positions provided her with a broad perspective on behavior management, the ethics code for RBTs, and the nuances of compassionate ABA practices. Sara’s passion for training technicians’ shines through her work, where she focuses on behavior management, ethical practices, and child-led learning. Her unique insight as a mother of two children on the autism spectrum enriches her training approach, offering a valuable parent’s perspective to her sessions. At Creative Therapy Solution, Sara is dedicated to ensuring that technicians receive comprehensive training, support, and guidance. Her goal is to foster an environment where everyone feels heard and supported, empowering her team to deliver the highest quality services to our clients. Sara is thrilled to be at Creative Therapy Solution, where the dedication to investing time and energy in both employees and clients is evident in the exceptional services they provide.

Candice Auge

Candice is a seasoned professional in medical billing with over 17 years of experience supporting clinical teams across a wide range of healthcare specialties. Her extensive expertise encompasses medical coding, claim resolution, denial management, and payer compliance, reflecting her deep commitment to integrity and accuracy in every account she manages. Before joining Creative Therapy Solution, Candice honed her skills across a wide range of clinical settings, including physical, speech, and occupational therapy for adults and pediatrics, immunization clinics, durable medical equipment (DME), dental practices, behavioral intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and behavioral testing for ADHD and autism. These positions provided her with a broad perspective on payer requirements, documentation standards, and the ethics and guidelines that govern medical billing. Candice’s passion for clean, compliant billing shines through her work, where she focuses on detail, follow-through, and partnership with the clinical team. Her commitment to working each claim by industry ethics and guidelines — rather than chasing the fastest path to payment — enriches her approach, offering a principled and patient-centered perspective to every account she manages. At Creative Therapy Solution, Candice is dedicated to ensuring that clients, clinicians, and the practice receive accurate, ethical, and reliable billing support. Her goal is to foster a billing process where every claim is handled with care and integrity, empowering the clinical team to focus on delivering the highest quality services to clients. Madison McCool

Madison is a dedicated Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) professional with over three years of experience and a strong client-first approach. Before joining Creative Therapy Solutions, she worked in an early intervention clinic, where she specialized in helping young children reach meaningful developmental goals and milestones.

As the Clinic Operations Coordinator at Creative Therapy Solutions, Madison oversees the clinic’s daily operations, including staff scheduling, client intake and assessments, and marketing initiatives. She is committed to creating a smooth, supportive experience for both families and staff while ensuring the clinic operates efficiently and effectively.

Madison’s background as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides her with a strong clinical foundation that continues to guide her work in operations. Her hands-on experience allows her to stay closely connected to the needs of clients and families while supporting the clinical team behind the scenes.

Before entering the ABA field, Madison gained valuable experience in sales and marketing at a marketing agency, where she developed programmatic media strategies and assisted clients with marketing initiatives. This diverse background brings a creative, well-rounded perspective to her role at CTS.

Madison is passionate about supporting children, families, and staff, and she considers it a privilege to help clients grow, succeed, and achieve their goals.

Derek Lopez

Derek is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who loves seeing individuals make progress towards their goals and values. He is also passionate about teaching people in a way that works for them. CTS has been a great fit for him because we promote a spirit of growth among staff and clients and encourage collaboration with parents, clients, and other team members. Derek enjoys listening to and playing music. He also loves spending time with my wife and children.

Kendall Brundrett

  • Years in the industry: 5

Kendall is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a deep passion for supporting the neurodivergent community. Her dedication to promoting inclusion stems from a lifelong commitment to understanding and advocating for individuals with diverse needs. Since entering the field in 2019, Kendall has gained extensive experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), driven by her academic background in Behavioral Neuroscience (B.S.) and Applied Behavior Analysis (M.S.). Kendall is committed to continuous professional development and strives to stay current with best practices and emerging research in the field of ABA. She is deeply invested in enhancing the quality of life for those she serves, always advocating for more inclusive and supportive environments for individuals with autism and other developmental differences. In her free time, Kendall enjoys spending quality moments with her family, diving into a good book, and unwinding at the beach whenever possible.

We’re looking for Registered Behavior Technicians and Board Certified Behavior Analysts who share our vision of building a more inclusive world for children of all abilities! Does that sound like you? Let us know.

Available Positions

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Requirements

  • 6 months working with children
  • Complete a fingerprint clearance card.
  • Complete a 40-hour training program (conducted by a BACB certificant) based on the RBT Task List.
  • Pass the RBT Competency Assessment
  • Reliable transportation (proof of valid driver’s license and auto insurance required)
  • Must be able to travel to multiple work sites, including offices, homes, schools, and other locations in the community.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 35 pounds.
  • The position requires physically prompting clients and requires the ability to move quickly from one location to another to support the client and staff. In addition, transitioning from a seated position on the floor to standing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, bending, and reaching.
  • All employees are expected to follow all safety rules and policies.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Direct implementation of skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the supervisor.
  • Accurately completes all required documentation and data collection daily.
  • Complete online billing accordingly to the insurance codes authorized and submit in the specified timeframe.
  • Meets regularly with Supervisor and participates in consultations in-person with client and BCBA.
  • Attend introductory and ongoing training.
  • Communicates in a professional, confidential, and respectful manner with clients, parents, behavior analysts, and other members of the community.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or related field
  • AZ Licensure or the ability to obtain a license
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • BCBA: 1+ years of work experience with children with autism and related disorders.
  • Caring, positive, energetic, flexible, and motivated to learn
  • Preferred experience with ACT, RFT, PEAK, Social Skills, and OBM Skills
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and train Registered Behavior Technicians
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation and auto insurance
  • Pass a criminal background check

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with the leadership team to increase provider productivity, enhance client programming and support a creative workspace for employees.
  • Assess, design, develop and implement intervention plans and skill acquisition programs for clients.
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and treatment fidelity measures to ensure proper implementation of behavior support plans
  • Supervise and provide ongoing training for Registered Behavior Technicians.
  • Train and collaborate with families to ensure treatment fidelity and satisfaction.
  • Participate in weekly BCBA meetings
